The realization of the fully automatic pre-bending function in the plate rolling machine depends on the collaborative innovation of the equipment structure design and the control system. The four-roller plate rolling machine can complete the end pre-bending before the plate enters the main roller through the arc movement mechanism of the side roller. Some high-end models are equipped with a programmable CNC system, which can store the pre-bending parameters of hundreds of workpieces. The EPS electronic leveling system adjusts the parallelism of the rollers in real time to achieve one-button continuous processing from material matching to pre-bending and rolling. The hydraulically driven equipment automatically matches the yield strength of the plate in the pre-bending stage through the closed-loop control of the pressure sensor and displacement feedback.
The core technology of fully automatic pre-bending lies in the establishment of a mathematical model. By calculating the relationship between the side roller displacement, pressure distribution and the rebound amount of the plate, the traditional experience-based process is converted into CNC instructions. However, it should be noted that the three-roller model still needs to be pre-bent with the help of external equipment due to structural limitations, while the four-roller model uses the inverted side roller cylinder technology to reduce the height of the machine body while improving the sliding stability, making fully automatic pre-bending possible.
