What are the daily maintenance tasks of hydraulic sheet metal bending machines?

1. Hydraulic system maintenance
Hydraulic oil management——
Oil level check: Check the oil level in the oil tank of the hydraulic sheet metal bending machine before starting the machine to ensure that it is above the center line of the oil window; if it is below the lower limit, standard hydraulic oil needs to be added.
Oil temperature control: The oil temperature of the machine must be maintained at 35℃~60℃ during operation. Exceeding 70℃ will accelerate the deterioration of oil quality, and the cooling system or load abnormality needs to be checked.
Oil change cycle: The first change for a new machine after 2000 hours of operation, and then every 4000~6000 hours, and the oil tank should be cleaned simultaneously when changing the oil.
Filter cleaning-
Replace or thoroughly clean the inlet/return oil filter every time the oil is changed. Clean the air filter every 3 months and replace it once a year to prevent dust from entering the hydraulic system.

2. Mechanical parts inspection
Structural tightening——
Tighten the bolts and nuts of the machine body (especially the slider connection) every month. The new machine needs to be fully tightened after 2 months of use. Check whether the guide rails and screws are loose or offset, which affects the bending angle accuracy.
Moving parts calibration——
The machine needs to recalibrate the positioning accuracy of the back gauge (R axis) after testing. The error is greater than ±0.1mm.
Check the parallelism between the slider and the workbench to prevent mold wear due to eccentric load.

3. Lubrication system maintenance
Key parts lubrication——
Daily: Apply lithium-based grease (ISO VG68 recommended) to the guide rails and ball screws.
Weekly: Add grease to the transmission gears and bearings of the back gauge to ensure smooth movement.
Lubrication precautions——
Use the original factory specified lubricant, and do not mix different brands of grease.
Clean the grease nozzle before lubrication to avoid impurities mixing and aggravating wear.

4. Mold and workbench maintenance
Mold maintenance——
Immediately clean the oil stains and metal chips on the mold surface after using the hydraulic sheet metal bending machine, and apply anti-rust oil after wiping with alcohol.
Check whether the cutting edge is cracked or indented. If the mold is damaged, it needs to be stopped and repaired.
Cleaning the workbench - Clean the iron filings on the workbench after finishing the work every day to prevent scratching the plate or affecting the positioning accuracy.
